STILL FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED

Tammy and Mark Bennecke founded La Pooch in 2007. They lived on the premises and were always aware of the needs of their business and especially the needs of the animals they cared for. Mark passed away in 2013 and my dear Mother Tammy passed away in April of this year. Their passion for animals was recognized by all that knew them and their spirit will forever carry on at La Pooch.

Debbie Cason my mother in law is excited at the opportunity to continue the tradition of living on the premises to offer first hand care and immediate contact with our customers pets. Debbie has the passion to continue the traditions of La Pooch and add her love of pets to grow the business. Debbie’s dog Sammy the miniature Schnauzer is excited about meeting and making friends with all your pets.

My wife Shelbi Cooper and myself Derek Cooper live here in Sulphur Springs with two small children Gentri (7),Gus Cooper (5), and two pets Hank (1)-Wire hair dachshund and Pebbles (4) -Muttiepoo. We will continue to actively run La Pooch with the same love and care that Mark and Tammy did.

We have always been pleased that our clients come from near and far to trust their animals care with La Pooch. We understand that as pet owners confidence in our services and the care we give their animals is paramount.

We pride ourselves in providing one of the best boarding services in the area and are currently seeking a professional groomer to add that service back to meet our clients needs.
